You’d think these years we’d have love totally figured out! But my buddies, love, somehow manages to surprise us! We may presume it’s about emotions, interest, hormones, and compatibility – but there is much more to why we fall in love.

1. If someone is just like you!

And it just enjoys the same things and makes absolute sense also, for who don’t love someone who makes them go “me too” over small things. Plus when you two agree on virtually everything, there actually isn’t any earth left for those silly fights!
2. If someone looks like your father/ mother

Oedipal complex consistently looked a little bizarre to us, but even modern-day more research has demonstrated that we sometimes fall for somebody who’s our parents’ mirror image!… Imagine our parents are our genuine love since we keep trying to find the one who’s like them. Odd, but true!

3. If someone smells great

So, there’s some truth in what those deodorant advertisements claim, in the end! We’re sensory beings who find it resisting a person with an excellent body odor harder, and what’s more is that it’s this body odor that we often find comfort in. For taking a bath now, that ’s some motivation!
4. If someone did the first time to NOT like you

We all love a little chase in our love stories, don’t we? And it’s the love-hate play combined with the curiosity to understand more; that eventually gets the better of people, and soon, they warm as much as the man they didn’t enjoy first. Happens constantly!

5. If someone stares into your eyes for 2 minutes

You connect and fall, and you know, 2 minutes is a very long time in regards to looking someone in a person’s eye, but maybe this really is when the whole “eyes are the windows to your soul” magic occurs for a person.
6. If someone does something exciting and thrilling with you

Hmm… This one’s rather apparent. If you’d come out alive and risk your life with someone – the near-death experience will get you want to stick together, right? Plus you’d already know this individual will be by your side if life becomes a b**ch – And just who wouldn’t fall in love after this major revelation?

7. If someone asks you out for java

Here, it’s the Java that sets your heart racing for the individual who has asked you out for it. How, you ask? Well, coffee being a beverage that is warm, helps the man who’s asked you out to exude a personality that is warmer too, and feel more comfortable with them and you have a tendency to open up. Who would have believed, right? #CaffeineAddictionExplained

8. If someone lives close to you

We understand HOW Ross finally won Rachel over nine years after – it was because he began living close to her! Dwelling nearby day outside and in with someone makes us accept them despite their many defects, and love him for the person he’s.

9. If someone lives in a house, that is beautiful

We always knew ambiance was the key! A location that is beautiful just gets us in the mood and the bed becomes too great to resist! Oh, no wonder afterward at all those girls who fell for Charlie Sheen – Did not they all say how wonderful his beach house was??!!
10. If a dog is owned by someone

Those who keep pets frequently come across as being caring, joyful and approachable – And well, are not these ALL the qualities we girls look for in our guys?

11. While walking if someone fits pace

Now you know why those long walks consistently helped! When an individual slows down or paces up to walk beside you – your subconscious mind registers this gesture as an intimate hint that they’re curious in you, and you react the same manner.

12. If the color red is worn by someone

Red has always been a bold, sexy and powerful color that grabs attention – but that it really exudes signals of desirability to bring prospective mates is quite a revelation! Hmm… perhaps that’s why we turn to tints of red when looking for our wedding lehengas.

13. If someone is not old enough to, um, make babies

Who knew, all that time, we were only seeking partners who were more likely to procreate out! Woah!
